Those who have followed the NFL have been intrigued by the performance of these stars through four weeks of NFL. We are just getting started so stay tuned as we dive into NFL 2020 season review thus far.
College gameday Louisiana
The State of Louisiana has some of the best programs in the nation. Clearly, this is one of those occasions Tulane, Louisiana Lafayette, LA Tech all came out victorious on Saturday. Tulane and LA Tech would just destroy the opposition on Saturday. UL Lafayette would be the team to battle with their opponent, however they would come out victorious.
LSU was the first Louisiana team to get upset on Saturday as the Mississippi State Bulldogs came into Death Valley and upset the Defending National Champions. 44-34 was the final as Mississippi State came in and stunned the Tigers passing for 623 yards and five touchdowns along with two interceptions. It was a hard pill to swallow but the Tigers are not done yet.

Week three comes with adjustments due to week two injuries. A lot of matchups come from starters going down with an injury. But Atlanta and Detroit both have uphill battles to face to get into the win column.
Atlanta could possibly play spoiler early, as Chicago Bears Mitchell Trubisky has been focused. Chicago is 2-0 but can they deliver a quality game against an opponent like Atlanta who can score and get out ahead quickly. But I’m still pulling for the upset as Atlanta rises up and gets the hype and butterflies out, focus to the end.
Detroit on the other hand has issues, but with the reunion of K Golladay, Matthew Stafford may have things begin to trend up for this franchise. Not completely out of the way, but it is a long shot that Lions upset Cardinals, now that’s a big might for that to be the storyline for tomorrow’s sporting news. Arizona has had two weeks of playing their own game, and they sit 2-0 unbeaten and now face a 0-2 Detroit Lions. Last time these two met it was week one, a season ago and Detroit and Arizona tied in that game. Now that K.Murray has evolved, put a weapon like D Hopkins in that mix, there is a chemical reaction that has Arizona being dominant in its first two games.
Clutch Review, Preview Week three.
Following the brutal week two where injuries were mounting up the good, bad, and the injury befell some of the NFL elite. Quarterbacks to running backs it was devastating season-ending injuries to weeks without starters. Drew Lock to Saquan Barkley, to a host of other NFL players.
Thursday Night kicked off week three where we had a battle of Florida teams. Miami Dolphins and the Jacksonville Jaguars took to TNF and Miami’s Ruan Fitzpatrick took control of the game and never took his foot off the gas. The Dolphins improved to 1-2 after starting the season with a 0-2 record they were one of 11 teams to still win a game. Thanks to Jacksonville who never got set, and played the entire game from behind. Miami would finish 31-13 and looked a far cry from the first two weeks.
Jacksonville Jaguars fell last week to Tennessee as they were driving on a fourth-quarter drive and looking to come back, a Minshew interception silenced that hope. The would come into the game missing there wideout sensation Dj Chark who was out for this game. But it wasn’t the Jags night as Miami controlled the flow and tempo of the game keeping their feet on Jacksonville’s neck. The Jaguars fall to 1-2 and look to rebound quickly as week three is now officially underway.
With Miami getting a win on TNF we are down to ten 0-2 teams and with the clock counting down we are going to look at these teams and their matchups.
Now it’s official gameday NFL, the stage is set and everyone knows their assigned roles. Injuries have several teams redrafting their game plans.
New York Giants are a team 0-2 looking to get a win. Unfortunately, they’re playing the San Francisco 49ers, but fortunate to New Yorks favor there is a list of what looks like half of the 49ers team. Which when the Giants scouted they should feel confident enough to beat a vulnerable opponent. The 1-1 49ers have a complete roster change due to the injured. New York can pull off an upset on the 49ers.
We have a do or die scenario for this next matchup Minnesota Vikings who are 0-2 and look flatlined. However, their next opponent is the Indianapolis Colts, who with Philip Rivers has a record of 1-1. Reality is, we keep it straight to the point here with this matchup. Minnesota does not look like the playoff team from last season. So starring down a loaded gun with a sense of urgency will be the defining moment of this match.
Seattle and Dallas face off and it’s one of the premier matchups with NFL elite. Dallas lost week one fought to come back against an Atlanta Falcons team, who gave it up. But Seattle best Atlanta in week one and battled New England in week two. So put up the reality of the situation and it’s still up there. Dallas made the playoffs by beating Seattle and Russell Wilson to advance to the divisional round where the LA Rams took care of business sending the Cowboys packing. Dallas has to be on top of it, considering the looks and whispers you can get from not swimming with currents. No, it’s going to be Atlanta pulling an upset to get that first much need win.
Monday night brought las vegas professional football. The home opener of Allegiant Stadium set the matchup between the New Orleans Saints and Las Vegas Raiders. Monday’s game was a premier match, Drew Brees and Derek Carr NFL royalty in their own rights. However, our clutch performance is from Darren Waller Las Vegas Raiders tight end, went clutch in the game catching 12 balls for 103 yards and a score. He would be the difference-maker as Jared Cook faced off against his former team, before signing with the saints. D Waller showed off and the Saints defense had moments where they stopped a few plays but Waller went ham sandwich. He was that defensive coordinator nightmare he worked the defense allowing other key pieces to show up and make plays leading to Las Vegas taking the game and securing the Win.
Derek Carr was Clutch in the Raiders come back home opener. Carr would find 11 different receivers as he would finish the night with 22/38 282 yards and three touchdowns. Carr started slow and found his rhythm as he would drive the field and control the offense leading Vegas to a comeback win, in their home opener.
Thursday Night Showdown
Cleveland Browns faced off against in-state rival Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night football. It was the battle for Ohio, two first-round overall draft picks. Two teams coming in 0-1 and battling for a W, and positioning in the division as these two are foes in the same division. But after Cleveland was routed by Baltimore in week one they look to redeem themselves. Cincinnati had a battle as they fell short to the Los Angeles Chargers, so they both came in wanting to show that they were better than there week one performance.
But it would be a ground and pound, a game the Browns would utilize in their key to victory. On the backs of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, the Browns run game would prove the key to beating the relentless Bengals who would not go without a fight. Nick Chubb would end the night with 22 touches for 124 yards and 2 touchdowns. Kareem Hunt Chubbs backfield counterpart would finish with 10 touches for 86 yards and 1 touchdown. The two dubbed the one-two punch, combined for 210 yards of ground game and three scores, combined with Baker Mayfield and Odell Beckham that’s a chemistry that ensures a win.
Cincinnati Bengals, on the other hand, came in looking like they knew what needed to be down but when I came to game time Joe Burrow the 2020 NFL Number One draft pick, came in determining to rebound from week one’s shortfall. He would direct and run his offense effective until a strip-sack fumble and a costly interception, he would learn this lesson on the job as he battled back and unfortunately come up short. Burrow would end the night with a stat we all see as wow! , Joe Burrow would go 37-61, yes 61 attempts for 316 yards and 3 touchdowns. He even ran for 7 attempts for 19 yards. Burrow would connect with his receivers and reach pay dirt three times.
Cleveland won and turned around the bad mojo from week one, they came out clicking on all cylinders, passing the ball efficiently, despite Baker throw an interception, they easily pounded the ball with their ground game and pretty much ran away with the game. Cleveland first-year head coach Kevin Stefanski got his first NFL career win.
Cleveland wins the Thursday night battle 35-30 improving to 1-1 while Cincinnati falls to 0-2 and that record wasn’t sitting well with Rookie Joe Burrow who said for the first time in his sporting career he’s 0-2. Burrow is learning on the job and with the exception of one interception he did a quality job controlling the offense and when they were down Joe kept fighting until the end and this Bengals team will break into the Qin column with the way they played and fought. A
Joe Burrow interview.
